1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and PostRanker ("we", "us", or "our"), the operator of the platform accessible at postranker.in("Platform").

By accessing or using the Platform — including creating an account, attempting practice tests, or any other activity — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use PostRanker, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be an India Post employee, department candidate, or a person preparing for India Post-related examinations.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of India.
• Not be barred from using online services under applicable Indian law.

If you are registering on behalf of an organization or institution, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

To access most features of PostRanker, you must create an account. When doing so, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the accuracy of your account information and update it as needed.
• Keep your password secure and confidential. Do not share your account credentials with anyone.
• Immediately notify us at support@postranker.in if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

PostRanker reserves the right to terminate accounts that provide false information, share credentials, or violate these Terms.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on PostRanker — including but not limited to questions, explanations, text, graphics, software, user interface design, logos, and trademarks (the "Content") — is the proprietary property of PostRanker or its licensors and is protected under applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial examination preparation purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, republish, download, or distribute any Content without prior written permission.
• Use any Content for commercial purposes.
• Modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform.
• Use screen-capture tools, bots, or automation to harvest Content at scale.

5. Prohibited Conduct

While using PostRanker, you must not:

• Share your account login credentials with others or allow multiple persons to use a single account.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to interact with the Platform in an unauthorized manner.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or PostRanker systems.
• Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
• Engage in any activity that disrupts, damages, or places an undue burden on the Platform's infrastructure.
• Impersonate any person, entity, or PostRanker representative.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose under applicable Indian law, including the IT Act, 2000.
• Screenshot, record, or distribute examination questions from the platform without explicit written permission.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and, where warranted, legal action.

6. Platform Services & Availability

PostRanker offers the following services, subject to availability:

• Practice MCQs: Topic-wise questions with explanations and performance tracking.
• Custom Test Builder: User-defined tests with selectable subjects, topics, question count, and time limits.
• Coming Soon: Learn by Module, Full Mock Tests, Previous Year Papers (announced separately).

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service or feature at any time with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss resulting from such modifications.

We do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

Core features including Practice MCQs and Custom Test Builder are currently available free of charge. Premium features, if introduced, will be clearly labelled and require payment.

When making any purchase:

• You agree to provide accurate billing information.
• All payments are processed securely through our payment provider (e.g., Razorpay). PostRanker does not store your payment card details.
• Prices are displayed inclusive of applicable taxes (GST) where required.

Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our products, all purchases are generally non-refundable once accessed. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion, or as required under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. To raise a refund request, email support@postranker.in within 7 days of purchase.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

PostRanker is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
• The content — including practice questions and explanations — is 100% accurate, complete, or current.
• Use of PostRanker will guarantee success in any examination.
• Any specific results or outcomes from using the Platform.

PostRanker is a preparation aid. Examination results depend on many factors beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PostRanker and its team shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Loss of data, profits, goodwill, or examination opportunities.
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
• Any matter beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to PostRanker in the 3 months preceding the claim, or ₹500 (Indian Rupees Five Hundred).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PostRanker and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

• Your use or misuse of the Platform.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any third-party rights or applicable law.
• Any content you submit to the Platform.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or the use of PostRanker shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. Users outside India use this Platform at their own risk and in compliance with their local laws.

12. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally:

1. Step 1 — Informal Resolution: Contact us at support@postranker.in describing your concern. We will attempt to resolve it within 15 working days.
2. Step 2 — Grievance Officer: If the issue remains unresolved, escalate to our Grievance Officer at grievance@postranker.in. We will respond within 30 days.
3. Step 3 — Legal Proceedings: If informal resolution fails, disputes may be pursued through courts of competent jurisdiction in India.

13. Termination

By You: You may delete your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing support@postranker.in.

By PostRanker: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason we deem necessary for the security or integrity of the Platform.

Upon termination, all licences granted to you under these Terms immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12) will remain in effect.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
• Notify registered users via email at least 7 days before changes take effect.
• Show a notice on the Platform for a reasonable period.

Your continued use of PostRanker after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you disagree, you must stop using the Platform and delete your account.
